Toluca Lake is an unincorporated community in the San Fernando Valley that is located partly in North Hollywood and partly in Burbank. It is an affluent community with many residents working in the film and entertainment industry which is centered in Burbank and nearby Hollywood. Universal City and Studios are located nearby to the south. Glendale is to the east. Downtown Los Angeles is only eleven miles from Toluca Lake. The Toluca Lake Homeowners Association maintains the man-made lake located within a guard-gated private area. Former residents of Toluca Lake include Bob Hope, Amelia Earhart, and Frank Sinatra.

 

Toluca Lake Homeowners Association

The Toluca Lake Homeowners Association is a non-profit voluntary membership organization that has been an advocate for the residents of Toluca Lake for more than seventy-five years. Its mission is to serve, engage and support the community of Toluca Lake.

 

Lakeside Golf Club

Lakeside Golf Club is a private golf club designed by architect Max Behr and opened in 1925. The club features an 18-hole golf course and first-class amenities. It is located in the Toluca Lake section of Burbank just west of Studio City. Famous members have included Bob Hope, W.C. Fields, Johnny Weissmuller, Gene Autry, Howard Hughs, President Ronald Reagan, and many others.

 

West Toluca Lake

West Toluca Lake is bounded by Camarillo Street on the north, Riverside Drive to the west and south, and Vineland Avenue to the east. The neighborhood is within the North Hollywood section of Los Angeles, just north of Toluca Lake.

 

Toluca Woods

Toluca Woods is bounded by West Magnolia Boulevard on the north, Cahuenga Boulevard on the west, North Cordova Street on the east, and the Los Angeles River on the south. The neighborhood is within the North Hollywood section of Los Angeles, just north of Toluca Lake.

 

Universal City - Universal Studios

Universal City is a community in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles County. Seventy percent is in unincorporated Los Angeles County while thirty percent is in Los Angeles. Universal City is surrounded by the City of Los Angeles and is the location of Universal Studios, one of the largest film studios in the United States. Included in Universal City are the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park, the Universal CityWalk shopping and entertainment center and the Gibson Amphitheatre. Universal City is located just east of the 101 Freeway, north of Hollywood and south Burbank and Toluca Lake. Griffin Park is directly to the east. It is a great place for the entire family to visit.
